About the Artist
Years of working from life in both landscape and studio has slowly developed my oil painting skills to their current level, but I'm grateful that my evolution as an artist is never at a standstill and will continue as long as I paint.
My paintings reflect my fascination with light, patterns, and shadows, and my delight in experimenting with color relationships. Often they hint at a human story or attempt to communicate my attraction to a landscape or still life objects. Everyday visual experiences spark my enthusiasm for loading a brush with luscious oil paint and putting it to canvas.
